The hotel is set in a beautiful location, surrounded by trees and greenery. the interior of the hotel has a charming old-fashioned feel, adding to its unique character. - the breakfast served at the hotel was excellent, and the staff was accommodating and polite.
The room decor was outdated and felt cramped, with old furniture squeezed into small spaces. The kitchen closed quite early at 8 pm, which was inconvenient arriving later in the evening.

Only a short distance to the restaurant The Auld Smiddy Inn. We liked the location and breakfast and really fair prices. Loch Faskally near the hotel.

Breakfast itself was good. Room was very nice and big. Great view. A nice hotel just outside the village.
Breakfast was from the buffet. I would have been happy about freshly prepared food e.g. scrambled eggs

Very beautiful Old Scottish style hotel with Victorian charm. Full-Scottish Breakfast was good. Bathroom is freshly renovated and you can see ongoing maintenance everywhere to keep the standard high
I can't think of much to say.

Absolutely loved our Easter getaway! The hotel was full of character and had a cozy feel to it. The log fire in the sitting room was a real treat, especially on the frosty evenings. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready for a chat. We also enjoyed the delicious gourmet meals in the spacious restaurant. And the best part? The extensive gardens with magnificent pine trees, perfect for a leisurely walk and spotting wildlife.
That our room in the attic was a bit tired and chilly. However, the centrally controlled heating helped make up for it.

Located in a park with old pine trees. Beautiful bird sounds backdrop. A hotel in an "old style" with a typical, pleasant atmosphere. Helpful staff.
Whining at a high level, but smoked salmon should not be missing in a 4 * hotel for breakfast in my opinion.

The Pine Trees Hotel was worth every penny, with a charming coach house room that had both a bedroom and a living room. The location was fine and the staff were very good too make sure we had a great stay. We'll definitely be back!
The morning meal could have been better if the bacon and black pudding weren't dried out.

Comfort, old fashioned comfort. Attentive staff and a personalised service.
The food and service was excellent but the staff were inclined to rush us from one course to the next. I would have prefered a more leasurely pace between courses.

Staff friendly and efficient--front of house mainly central European girls! Set in large garden screened by tall mature trees which make it seem well away rather than within easy reach of town centre.
No lift! Top floor rooms rather small.
